Chapter 24 A FRESH BEGINNING

Gary could sense Xina's confused thoughts as he emerged from the bathroom, a sure sign that she was awake. The previous night, he'd gone to great lengths to prepare a meal for her, but she had fallen into such a deep sleep that not even his gentle attempts to rouse her were successful.
