“What the hell? Who the hell is this woman?”
Mary’s loud screech echoed in the large basement.
There was a small metal door that was wide open. Mary stood right in the threshold with pure anger in her eyes. Her hands were placed on her hips as she stared the van down. The unknown man had parked the car right around the back.
There was a slight back in the ground where the van reached, then a small alcove which led to the almost hidden basement. Mary watched as Cindy yanked the door open and slid the young woman out.
Mary had thought that maybe Mia had gotten a haircut or even had facial reconstruction surgery within the span of a few months.
“This isn’t Mia Morino.”
