Selena couldn't help but furrow her brow in confusion. Edmund had already known that she was using him as Herman's stand-in. She couldn't help but wonder why he would still ask her such foolish questions. She couldn't be bothered to decipher his thoughts, nor did she have the energy for further pretense, though.
