When Derek thinks about all his life has been, it leaves him in this awkward situation. It doesn't even make it better knowing that this is a situation that he is able to turn it around, especially when this new journalist is not making his work any easier faster. This is not the first time that he has been given a job to do. Many times Alucard has given him something to fix. And he has been able to do that in a matter of few days. But at this point, he has to come up with a scheme and put himself in close relations with this woman which is not normally as he will do especially when he has to put up with her and try to put up with the ordinance of her life. It felt like a chore, and he could not wait to finish doing it. He wondered why it was taking so long for him to be able to take this woman down. Assuming he was allowed to kill her, it would have been done and dusted but this woman is literally driving him around in circles. All because of the mission that entailed to
