CHAPTER 112: A MESSAGE OF BLOOD
"The message must be written in blood."
Drakon paused his writing and glanced up at the witch.
"No thanks, I'm perfectly okay with the ink," he replied mockingly before starting to write again.
"If whatever you write is for the mage, then you'll need blood." Dahlia continued as she moved closer to his table and sat down on the chair facing him. "We can't just walk into the city and find him; the note has to be sent with magic, and for that…"
"We need blood," Drakon cut in harshly, "you've already said that three times."
Dahlia shrugged, "if only for emphasis."
The alpha sighed and dropped the quill before standing up.
"So, what are we going to do?"
Dahlia stood up, too, and drew out a small dagger from her cloak.
"We need the Luna's blood,"
"What is this obsession with my wife's blood?!"Drakon barked out, pushing a hand through his hair in frustration.
"Well, it's special," the witch explained but suddenly paused and smiled.
