Just as Jenson and Salome had resigned themselves to despair, the car suddenly swerved, grazing Salome's foot before tearing out of the parking lot with a defiant roar. Jenson stood motionless for a moment, his eyes narrowing in confusion. The car had charged at them with such force, yet it had left without causing any harm. What was its real purpose? A sharp gust of wind from the car's departure whipped across Salome's face, and only then did she realize she was still alive.
