Hearing the barking, Taylor noticed that Lucy had brought her dog along. The canine was sitting by the car window, tail wagging excitedly in his direction. "Good boy," Taylor said, reaching out to pat its head. "We've only met once, yet you remember me. That's quite an impressive memory." The dog eagerly nudged its head into his palm, its tail wagging so wildly it looked like it could lift off the ground. Taylor stepped closer, scooping the dog into his arms for a proper hug.
