I never expected Sharon to believe me. I'd gotten used to it by now. "I don't owe you proof, Javin. I just have a few questions. Think you can answer them?"
Without giving him a chance to dodge, I stepped in closer, my eyes locked on his. "You say you built this game from scratch. So, tell me, how does it run?"
Javin instinctively stepped back, his eyes darting around. "Why should I tell you? Who the hell do you think you are, Kaelan?"
I could tell he had no clue, so I pushed harder. "What engine did you use? And how'd you fix the memory overload issue?"
Javin's face turned white as a sheet. He opened his mouth, but nothing came out.
Bryan's eyes flicked between us, doubt creeping in. "Mr. Holt, are you seriously telling me you don't even know the basics of your own game?"
"I... I just don't want to share game details with a murderer!" Javin blurted, grasping at straws.
"Oh, is that right?" I let my smile widen. "Since Mr. Holt here can't seem to explain it, let me do it for him
