Chapter 101: Timothy's Anger
The pen and bookmark were birthday gifts from Isabella, left quietly at his door. He didn't accept them personally or through someone else, as he wouldn't accept them either way. Isabella had been mocked enough times whenever Timothy refused her gifts, especially by Angel and his group. Leaving them at the door was fine; nobody knew who sent them, so if Timothy didn't want them, it didn't matter.
Later on, Isabella stopped giving him gifts altogether. She figured since Timothy never reciprocated on her birthday, and receiving gifts upset him, there was no point.
Timothy touched the items in the box, examining each one carefully. Suddenly, something seemed to dawn on him. He closed the box again, locked it back in the cabinet, straightened his clothes, then went out to the balcony.
Sure enough, Serena was sitting on the balcony lounge chair, seemingly engrossed in something, with a wide grin on her face.
"Mom, I need to talk to you about something," Timothy spoke up.
