15 The Visit

“Wake up, beautiful, or have you changed your mind?” Someone said. It was a familiar voice; Marty was going to keep his word! “Where are we going again?” Emmy asked. “Hmm, forget about it. I just wanted to wake you up. I also want to know if you have recovered fully,” Marty lied. He took advantage of Emmy's forgetfulness and assumed there were no plans in place. “Oh yes, I am going to see Jamie today! I almost forgot!” She screamed in excitement. “You are not going; we are going to see Jamie!” Marty said in a tone full of jealousy. “Oh really, I thought you had a lot of work today so I figured you'd want me to go alone,” she wondered. “Yes, I have a lot of work but I can spare time for you. Have you forgotten how special you are to me? Work can wait!” He said but his tone could tell it all; he was just jealous! Emmy knew what was going on in Marty's mind and didn't want to cause problems. She got ready, plucked flowers as a get-well-soon gift and off they went to s
