Chapter 39

Time flew by. When Zachary woke up, he was horrified to find himself sleeping on the bed in the master bedroom of the villa. The master bedroom was Anya's room. Zachary sat up and massaged his temples which were aching with his fingers as he scanned around. The renovation style of the room was slightly luxurious. There weren't many things other than the vanity table needed by every woman. There was a glass of water on the bedside table. Under the glass was a sticky note. Zachary grabbed the glass and gulped the water. Then, he took the sticky note and had a look. "The breakfast is in the kitchen. I've kept it warm. You had too much to drink last night, so just take a break today. I'll apply for leave for you with the company." On the sticky note was the neat handwriting that belonged to a woman. There was even a smile emoticon below the words. Zachary stood there in a daze, trying to recall what had happened the night before. He couldn't remember anything from the night
