Chapter 218: Third Time's a Charm

Baron "Bring that one!" Baron heard someone yell. His eyes, however, were trained and focused on his mate. Pandemonium surrounded him, and he found himself with little time or space to think clearly. The hospital ward had been transformed into a chaotic scene to allow his mate to deliver in peace, but there were too many people. It was the first time in decades that a Luna would be giving birth, and perhaps that was why some of the older healers from the pack had come out from goddess knows where. Different scents assaulted his nose, and most of all, he could barely hear Talia amidst the madness. "Leave!" Baron found himself saying. At first, there was silence, and then there was more pandemonium. Maybe they hadn't heard him properly, so he decided to bark it out again. "Leave!" he yelled nearly at the top of his lungs, causing some of them to jump and another to drop what she was holding. "I want you to leave," he said, meeting the eyes of those who would look at him. "But Alpha,"
