465: IT ALL CHANGED
ARIEL'S POV
After my words, Luke hesitated for a moment, his gaze scanning mine for any sign of hesitation or doubt, but finding none, he nodded in resignation.
"Alright, but stay close to me, Ariel. I don't want you to get hurt."
I nodded, a sense of gratitude flooding through me, and then I stepped into the elevator beside him. The doors slid shut behind us, and we descended into the chaos that awaited us on the ground floor.
The elevator doors opened to a scene of chaos. The owners of the companies he was working with were both in the lobby, their voices raised in a heated argument as they exchanged insults and accusations.
Luke wasted no time walking forward, his authoritative presence commanding everyone's attention.
