Chapter 5

　　When Sienna Qin woke up, she was lying on a hospital bed. 　　“Ziggy!” That name was the first thing that came to her mind the moment she was back to her consciousness. She tried to pull the needle from the back of her hand. 　　The nurse approached her and held her down. She grabbed the nurse’s hand and asked anxiously, “Where is the man I was with last night? How is he? Is he alright?” 　　As she was pulling the nurse, she noticed that her arm was so painful. She learned that she was burned during the fire. 　　Last night, she tried her best to rescue Sigfried Qiao. He had frozen, and was helpless during the fire. She may have been burned accidentally. 　　It made her feel good to know that, though Sigfried was afraid of fires, he still rushed back to rescue her when he realized a fire had broken out. She was touched. He did care about her, after all. 　　What’s a minor injury? 　　The nurse told her his room number. Despite her injuries, she walked towards his room to check on him. 　　When she reached his room, Sigfried was asking his assistant to pack his things and prepared to leave the hospital. 　　“Ziggy, are you okay? Why are you in a hurry to leave the hospital?” Sienna Qin asked worriedly as she held onto his arm. 　　Sigfried Qiao was dressed neatly. His demeanor was calm, very far from his frightened and vulnerable state last night. 　　He lowered his head and glanced coldly at the hand holding his arm. 　　"Let go." The voice was cold, and the look in his eyes, even colder. 　　Sienna Qin subconsciously let go of his arm and looked at him, feeling bitter in her heart. "I just…came to see how you are. Where are you going?" 　　“Do I really need to report that to you?” He said coldly. 　　Sienna was reminded of a scene that took place, three years ago. The way he acted now, it was strangely similar to how he had acted then. 　　He didn’t appreciate her efforts at all. Though she had saved his life, he continued with his cruel words. 　　Sienna Qin really didn’t understand him. What has she done wrong? 　　Sigfried Qiao seemed to be deliberately mad at her. Seemingly on purpose, his next words were even colder. “Yasmin is awake now. I have to see her.” 　　Then, without looking at her, he walked towards the door. 　　She watched him coldly passed by her and leaving the room. 　　“Yasmin is awake.” She slowly repeated his words. 　　So it turns out that he couldn't wait to be discharged from the hospital because he’d learned that Yasmin Wen had woken up 　　Happiness never lasted more than three seconds. 　　It hurt her deeply, what she’d just heard. In the past three years, all her efforts have been useless, and there is only the white moonlight in his heart 　　She should have known it would be like this a long time ago, right? But why does her heart still hurt so much? 　　The following month, Sigfried never showed up. 　　One doesn’t need to guess that he was with Yasmin Wen. Sienna Qin has long learned to be numb. 　　Fortunately, she was so busy with her latest show, especially now that she’s in the lead role for the first time. She barely had time to be sad. 　　She likes acting. It was her passion, her life’s purpose. That, and her obsessive love for Sigfried Qiao. 　　The characters she portrays were always energetic and full of joy, which was the opposite of how she was in real life. She always did her best to bring these characters to life. 　　The new drama had to be ready in time for the Lunar New Year Festival. The filming will be finished within the month. They had to complete all the needed footage while at the same time doing post-production work. 　　Sienna Qin finally decided to leave and continue recuperating at home. 　　As she was driving home, she encountered a sports car. The driver was being reckless, and seemed to be drunk as he drove along the winding road. 　　Fearing that she might lose control of her vehicle, she pulled over to the side of the road, hoping to prevent an accident from happening by putting as much space in between her and that other vehicle. 　　With a loud bang, a vehicle rear-ended her, and her head slumped on the steering wheel. Light-headed from the collision, she gradually lost consciousness.
