Emily exclaimed, "Mr. Thomas, you weren’t asleep?" "Until I agree to the divorce, everything will proceed according to the previous plan," Ethan said before opening his pitch-black eyes. His gaze was deep and penetrating, as if it could consume everything. Emily looked puzzled. She thought, ‘What was the previous plan?’ Seemingly reading her confusion, Ethan spoke heavily, "Aldrich doesn’t know yet that you plan to divorce me, so you’ll still be sharing the same room with me." Emily was at a loss for words. She thought, ‘We are getting divorced soon, isn’t it inappropriate to still be sharing a bed?’ However, she didn’t want to defy his wishes. If she angered Ethan, the consequences might be severe. She bit her lip and nodded, "Alright." Seeing her agreement, Ethan let go of her and said softly, "Go take a shower." "Okay." Emily stood up, took a set of pajamas, and headed to the bathroom. When she came out, Ethan was leaning by the bed while reading documents. He was wearing
