Emily walked over and politely greeted, "Good morning, Mr. Aldrich." She couldn't help but wonder why Aldrich had suddenly come so early in the morning. She thought, ‘Could it be that he regretted giving me the jade bracelet and wants it back? Well, I don’t care much for that jade bracelet anyway. If he wants to take it back, so be it.’ Acknowledging her greeting with a gentle nod, Aldrich's gaze shifted to Trista as he asked, "Who is this?" Trista snapped out of her thoughts and courteously stepped forward while greeting sincerely, "You must be Aldrich, right? I've seen you before, but I doubt you remember me. My name is Trista Weber, an etiquette teacher for many socialites and heiresses. I've also taught your granddaughters, Alanna Thomas and Serena Thomas." Aldrich remained composed while stroking his beard as he sighed, "So you are Alanna’s teacher. Please, have a seat." Emily knew that Alanna was the only daughter of Faye. Aldrich only favored his eldest son William, second
