Madison hummed in acknowledgment, holding the sentiment-sealing glass vial as she followed Sebastian out of the study. Outside in the hallway, Wanda and Yara were whispering to each other. Hearing the door open, they both turned their heads in unison. Yara's gaze immediately landed on the sentiment-sealing glass vial in Madison's hand, her brows lifting with an amused, knowing smile. Wanda, still out of the loop, asked, "Ms. Locke, do you need me to handle anything?" Madison shook her head. For some reason, her mind felt slow, like it was lagging behind her body. Sebastian glanced back at her. "Is my astral body still stable?" Madison checked briefly and nodded. "Yes." Sebastian's lips curled into a faint smile, the glimmer in his eyes becoming more pronounced. "I'm returning to Deatropolis tomorrow. Contact me if you need anything." Madison replied, "Okay." As Sebastian descended the stairs, Madison watched his retreating figure for a moment before calling out, "Sebastian!"
