OLIVIA'S POV Everything had happened so swiftly, it was almost unbelievable. I still couldn't believe my own father would want to use a knife on me. Or I actually did believe it, I was just in denial. Besides, I knew he was a psychopath the moment he threatened to ki grandpa. It was both terrifying and thrilling. In all my life, I had never had such an experience. I still felt traumatized even after Dave was arrested. It had been a day since the incident took place so I went to visit grandpa at the hospital. It seemed like a sudden character switch because I was the one who was in a hospital bed, with grandpa coming to visit barely two days. But now I was the one to do the visiting while grandpa recovered from the shock of everything. I could see him from the outside because the door was made of glass. His eyes were closed in a peaceful sleep as he breathed gracefully. Seeing him that way, different things flooded my mind. The mere thought of losi
