Chapter Eighty Four: Love and Laughter

Nora waited in her car, her elbow raised against the window frame, while she tapped her bottom lip repeatedly with her thumb. She sat up at once when she saw the dot moving and checked the direction he was moving towards before keying in the ignition. She stepped on the gas and swerved the car around, following the tracker's guide. She revved the car's engine as she drove, speeding across the highway. He was on the move earlier than the time he ought to have closed. He must be on heading to a meeting place with a business associate. Nora's wolf suggested. However, Nora had the feeling that that wasn't the case. She was curious to know where Canaan was heading to and would satisfy her eyes' curiosity. Hence, she stepped down on the gas, increasing the car's speed beyond the limit. She neared the dot and reduced her speed. She raised one corner of her mouth when she saw where Canaan had driven to. "Business meeting?" Nora choked down a scoff. She waited several minutes behin
