Omniscient POV Darius rushed out of the lounge, Seraphina cradled in his arms. Isolde immediately ran over, her eyes wide with concern. “Alpha Darius, what happened?” Her gaze fell on Seraphina, bloodied and unconscious in his arms. Her face darkened. “What happened to Miss Seraphina?” Darius didn’t have time to respond. His pace quickened as he rushed toward the car, and in an instant, they were speeding toward the hospital. Isolde ran a few steps after him, but in the end, she could only watch Darius’s car disappear into the distance. She was still in her wedding dress, the guests for the ceremony slowly gathering. But the only thing awaiting them was the absence of the groom. A wedding without the groom was nothing but a cruel joke. Isolde clenched her fists, her nails digging into her palms. She couldn’t let herself be ridiculed like this. It had taken every ounce of her family’s influence to gain the Centralized Power’s recognition. She was on the verge of becoming
