Sky looked at me and then walked after her. "My dear," I turned around to find Madam Gertrude standing behind me. "Yes, Madam?" I replied meekly. "Make no mistake, I'm sure he will rectify this." "It's easier said than done. And I know her. Whatever she wants, she gets at the expense of everyone else." "It's not my fault right now that she has her eyes set on Sky. I knew this was a bad idea." I ran back up to my room and couldn't help the torrent of tears that came out of my eyes. "My dear," Madam Gertrude said beside me on my bed, causing the foam to dip. "I told you he will handle this." "I know. You said so. But do you trust him?" "Trust is something I'm not used to giving. I've never trusted anyone, and no one has trusted me either." "Why is that?" "Why not? Why should I? I woul
