After all he had done for the gang, Davis, whom he considered a brother, had branded him a traitor in front of everyone, accusing him of working for the rival gang and causing the deaths of the many men they lost that day.
The only mistake he had made was to protect them. If he hadn't, they'd have lost more people. Yet, Davis refused to listen to him and blamed him for everything.
