ANDREA’S POV “Drea.” I turned, leaning against the shelf of books I’d been perusing in the library. I forced a smile at Zayne. “Hey.” He smiled softly in return, the exhaustion of the back-to-back battles showing on his face. “Are you okay?” That was a loaded question. Was I okay? I was exhausted from the battles. After the whole fiasco with Kade, Jaxon, and whatever beast they’d manifested, the rogues had retreated again. This time, Kade had left more dead than alive.
