ANDREA’S POV
“Andrea,”—Kade braced a hand against my arm—“you don’t have to do this.”
I gave him a small smile and shook my head. “Yes, I do.”
As soon as Kade related the news that Nora had been missing for almost a week, the night he’d planned for us went up in flames. All that mattered then was making sure his little sister was alright, and I completely understood.
He’d offered to take me home while he tried to book the soonest flight back to New York. That had proved futile, so I’d made a call.
Nico’s family business was private planes, so thirty minutes later, Kade and I were standing at a private airfield, about to board a private jet back to New York.
Kade was a little overwhelmed by how quickly I had been able to set everything up, but all that mattered to me was getting Nora back safely as soon as possible.
