CHAPTER 294: THE ANGER OF SUSAN

Susan sat on the floor of her apartment, her hair tousled and her face streaked with tears. The room was a mess, a chaotic testament to the havoc Daniel and Emily had brought into her life. She muttered curses under her breath, her anger palpable. "Damn police, damn Daniel and Emily," Susan seethed, her voice trembling with rage and frustration. "They've ruined everything." As she spoke, Susan heard footsteps approaching outside her door. Her heart skipped a beat, fear and anxiety coursing through her. Could it be the police again? Or was it Caleb and Juliet, coming to confront her further? Or worse, could it be Daniel and Emily, returning to finish what they started? She steeled herself, her mind racing with thoughts of revenge and self-preservation. "If it's Daniel and Emily," Susan vowed to herself, "I won't hesitate to kill them. And if it's Caleb and Juliet, they won't leave here alive either." With a deep breath, Susan slowly rose to her feet, wiping her tear-streaked face wi
