Juliette finally left the restaurant with her mother, her mind swirling with the intense conversation they just had. She saw Caleb standing a bit away, leaning against his car, patiently waiting. His face brightened when he saw her approaching. "Hey, how did it go?" Caleb asked, concern evident in his eyes as he straightened up. Juliette forced a smile. "It went fine. I'll tell you more when we get home." Caleb nodded, opening the car door for her. "Alright, let's get going then." As Caleb drove, Juliette stared out the window, her thoughts heavy. The city lights blurred past as they navigated through the streets. Juliette finally broke the silence. "Do you know that Daniel had the audacity to go to my mother and tell her about his problems? The guts of that man…" Caleb’s grip tightened on the steering wheel, his jaw clenched. "I didn't expect this, but I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. Daniel is a manipulative son of a bitch. He always finds a way to meddle." Juliette sighed, r
