CHAPTER 117: THE RAGE OF DANIEL
As the car drove further away from the warehouse, Juliet's screams began to fade, her voice growing hoarse and weak.
Gonzalez watched her with a dispassionate gaze, his expression devoid of any empathy or remorse.
"Don't tire yourself out now, my dear," he purred, a cruel smile playing on his lips. "You're going to need your energy for later,baby. We still have a lot to do. Hahaha."
Juliet turned her face away, unable to stomach his repulsive gaze any longer. But even as she tried to shut him out, she could still hear his voice, taunting her, mocking her despair.
The car finally came to a halt at the top of a barren hill, the landscape surrounding them dark and foreboding. Gonzalez exited the vehicle first, then motioned for his henchmen to retrieve Juliet.
As they dragged her out of the car, she caught a glimpse of the knife that Gonzalez had tucked into his belt, her heart pounding in her chest. She thrashed against their grip, her cries echoing in the still night air.
