Escape Ashton had to bear with thinking if Hava had truly denied him like Alpha Reid said, he felt so broken deep within that he wanted to rip the bars apart. “She would never deny me” he said thinking about all he had sacrificed just for Hava. He didn’t want to believe that she would do such a thing to him such as giving his paternal right to his own child to another man. Ashton had dedicated his whole life to her right from the moment he found out that she was his mate. He followed her to another pack and became the Gamma just so that he could protect her. When he saw Alpha Reid almost strangling her to death, he could have chosen to not help so that his cover wouldn’t be blown and that way Alpha Reid wouldn’t suspect him but it was all because of her that he reacted causing him to end up in the dungeon.
