Don't Be Afraid, Madam
As Hazel slept soundly, Regan was staring at her seriously.
She looked like a fragile and innocent baby when she slept, and it made him want to hold her in his arms and stare at her forever.
When Hazel finally had slept enough, she opened her eyes in a daze.
Unknown to her, Regan had been hugging her in the same posture for three hours so that she could sleep comfortably. Now, he only felt that his arms were numb.
"You're awake?"
Hazel nodded and asked, "Have we arrived at school? When did we get here? How long have I slept?" She was too sleepy that her eyes remained closed the moment she woke up from the bed. The only thing she could remember vaguely was telling Regan that she wanted to come to school.
"We just arrived. Do you have enough sleep?" Regan asked.
"Yes, I did."
"Are you hungry?"
"No." Hazel shook her head honestly.
"Even so, you still need to have your breakfast. I've brought it for you; it's in the thermal container. There's some porridge and your favorite almond cakes."
