Mayra didn't exchange many words with Gregory as there wasn't much to say. Apart from Gregory, his ever-present secretary was also there. Gregory was walking briskly ahead, likely out of concern for Brandon's safety or fear that Brandon might stir up yet another mess that could jeopardize his career progression. Mayra followed behind, silently entering the hospital ward with him. What greeted her was a sight she had never imagined encountering in her life.
