••• Charlotte’s POV ••• It’d been so many days since I saw my new mate, but there was still no news from either Olivia or Leo. And my new mate didn't even appear in my pack to claim me as his. It seemed like my new mate had disappeared from the face of the earth. Or maybe... Maybe he was from a different continent and just passing by and had returned back to his home country. My hope for finding him gradually dwindled down, and I began to give up. Knowing I was sad, Livie asked me to go shopping with her in the hope of lifting my mood. Even though I was reluctant, I still agreed to go with her because of her good intention. We went to the biggest and most high-end mall on the continent. Olivia was as excited as she could be. She looked like a kid in a candy store. She kept dragging me to every luxurious brand store and asking me to try on things in each store. Her excitement finally rubbed off on me, and I became nearly as excited as her as we shopped our way through the mall. Unexpect
