I cleared my throat softly, drawing the attention of the people around me. Yvette's gaze flickered slightly when she saw me, especially as her eyes lingered on my dress. "Juliet, it's getting late. Let Leonardo take you home." I had intentionally drawn Yvette's attention. In my previous life, Yvette had done something similar, ensuring I never had the chance to meet Gideon. I also knew that Yvette wasn't only wary of me; she was equally cautious of any attractive friends around her. She never let them get close to Gideon. Since the suggestion came from Yvette, who was so "kind and thoughtful", Leonardo didn't refuse. Even Samuel merely furrowed his brows slightly but didn't say anything. "The subway is still running. I can get back on my own. There's no need for anyone to take me back." Leonardo shot me a glance. Though he didn't seem particular
