Unless I Die
Chaden's face darkened, his eyes filled with malice, and he questioned in a coercive manner, “What did you say?”
Kenneth, unafraid of the powerful, retorted: "Lawrence is dead. I will not allow anyone to further disrespect his remains unless I die."
The second prince tried again to dissuade, “Chaden…”
But his effort was disregarded by Chaden.
Chaden stared at Kenneth, his gaze was that of a ruthless monarch scrutinizing a treacherous minister, asked again: “Are you really not planning to help?”
Kenneth remained silent but squarely met Chaden's gaze.
The message was very clear.
Chaden nodded his head slightly, the corner of his mouth curved slightly: "Good, but I must tell you, you have no choice."
He then instructed his guards: "Some of you stay here. Don't go anywhere until Kenneth has made his decision. When Kenneth agrees to assist, let me know."
"Yes!"
With that, Chaden strode away.
"Chaden?" The second prince frowned as he watched his George leave.
He then glanced over at Kenneth.
