Ezekiel woke up feeling better than he did the day before. His wounds had already started healing but it was just a gradual process. He still felt pains on the deeper cuts. As he tried to sit up on the hospital bed, he felt the weight of someone holding him down. His insides bubbled happily as he thought Alyssa came back to stay with him. He had sent Cindy away yesterday so the only person who would be here with him should be Alyssa. Well, that was his hope bit it quickly faded away when he turned to his side and saw Cindy sleeping next to him like a baby. The initial joy he had slowly faded away and was replaced with disappointment. That still didn't stop him from searching for Alyssa as he thought she would still come back to him.
