Even though Alyssa tried to struggle, Ezekiel forced her and made her go with him to the hospital. On the way to the hospital, she kept giving Ezekiel small glances. She noticed the small frown lines on his forehead and how he tapped his finger impatiently on the steering wheel. He was worried. But why? "Why is he suddenly caring for me?" "Why is he suddenly acting like I matter to him?" "Why is he acting like things are better between us?" Alyssa had many questions im her head but no answer to them. She couldn't even ask Ezekiel because she knew he was going to lie or turn back to the scum he used to be. The only thing she could do was sit and watch till he couldn't continue with his act anymore. Knowing him, it won't take time for him to go back to who he once was. She moved her eyes to the mirror in the car and noticed how happy her son was in the back seat, being swamped by many toys.
