"You shouldn't try what you did again, Landon. You are lucky he let you off." Dad wagged a finger in warning at me.
"You must have become reckless because you were not incriminated for the Reid's incident. How could you make such a rash move? Even if he wants to consider doing business with us, he will totally write off the idea now!"
"Dad!" I barked, glaring at him.
"I'm very disappointed in you, Landon."
"I know I made a mess of things, so what? Everyone makes mistakes."
"And they own up to it! How do you plan to take responsibility for your actions now? Once is a mistake, but twice is foolishness, Landon."
