Find Out About a Woman Named Elizabeth Liang
As soon as Elizabeth Liang entered the door and saw the sofa, she collapsed onto it without even bothering to change her shoes.
She went through more ups and downs today than a freaking movie.
Staring at the wide floor-to-ceiling windows, she gloomily thought of James Lu's angry face.
She sighed.
How could he not be angry?
Within one day, she had smashed his head, then pushed him again while he was injured...
The fact of the matter was that she had asked for his help, so she shouldn't have exploded like that no matter how annoyed she was. After all, if she had irrevocably pissed him off, where could she possibly find another man like James Lu to rely on?
She didn't know him well enough to figure out whether or not he would regret everything and refuse to marry her because of what she had done today.
After giving it some thought, she shook her head and denied the idea. He probably wouldn't. Sure, James didn't come home with her, but he gave her the key to his house and told her the password, didn't he?
But... if he were to break his word, what is she going to do?
After kicking her legs in frustration, she sat up all of a sudden.
"No! I can't let that happen!"
She had made up her mind to do something, something that would make sure he marries her.
What was that saying again? That there is no such thing as a free lunch?
That's right!
That'll do it!
Now that she had a plan, Elizabeth finally felt relieved. Satisfied, she leaned against the sofa and closed her eyes. This long day was finally over, and she was exhausted.

At the Grand Dynasty Hotel.
James sat in an armchair with his head wrapped in thick bandages, his legs were elegantly crossed and his face was somber.
Looking at his big and usually comfortable bed, and thinking about what had happened the night before, he felt his headache getting even worse.
His face only relaxed a little when his assistant Samuel Lee entered the room with his new cellphone.
"That was fast." He fiddled with his phone without looking up.
"Anything for my boss!" Samuel immediately replied glibly.
Samuel was already asleep when he received a call from his majesty the boss, then he was forced to crawl out of bed. Looking at the time, it was already nine o'clock! He rushed to the nearest cellphone shop and asked for the most expensive one, then hurried his way to the Grand Dynasty Hotel.
For God's sake, his boss's temper was not a joke.
Right now he stood in the room, his hair a mess from sleeping. A strand of hair stood straight up on top of his head, which was quite a comical sight.
James looked at Samuel and nodded with satisfaction.
Well, at least Samuel's ridiculous appearance cheered him up a bit!
Noticing the satisfied look on his boss's face, Samuel immediately said, "Well boss, it's already past ten o'clock."
"Yes."
"And there's quite a bit of distance between my house and the Grand Dynasty, from the east end to the west end of the city..."
"I told you to buy a house closer to the company, but you won't listen." Lu Enterprises was only a ten-minute drive from the Grand Dynasty Hotel.
Of course I would if I could, Samuel thought bitterly. But he couldn't exactly afford to take his pick in the middle of the city. Even if he did buy a house here, he's not sure he would ever have enough money to get married.
"No, boss, I mean, my house is pretty far away from here, so can I stay here just for the night?"
James looked up and glanced at him unconcernedly. "What do you think?"
"Boss, I have to go to work tomorrow..."
"I know you follow me around every day, but that doesn't mean I want to see a man wearing a pair of briefs walking around in the morning, got it?"
Samuel had been working with James for years, he knew what he was like.
Samuel nodded with grievance. "Okay then, I guess I'll go home now boss."
James nodded and was about to continue fiddling with his phone when he suddenly thought of something. "Wait!"
Samuel looked at him with anticipation. "Boss..."
"Find out about a woman named Elizabeth Liang. I want to know everything about her as soon as possible."
