Zion's brows knitted. As he pulled back the blade and turned to leave, Liam's cold voice echoed. "Zion! Did you even hear what I just said?"
"This has nothing to do with you," Zion replied flatly, offering no further explanation.
Liam's mind drifted back to the Zion he remembered from their childhood in the slums. Back then, Zion was always quiet and detached.
