Chapter 49 I ran into fire

　　Lucas' POV 　　When I got upstairs, the whole corridor was blanketed by heavy, black smoke. 　　The fire was a raging inferno, a monster with a voracious appetite for destruction. 　　The building shook and groaned as the flames consumed it, chewing through the walls and ceilings like a beast gnawing on its prey.
