Chapter 161: Are You Pregnant?

Lainey felt like she was going crazy. She was actually discussing having a baby with Winfred. She was not even twenty-three yet. Was she really going to have a child at such a young age? At the thought that a child was calling her mom, Lainey found it a bit unacceptable. She bit her nails, feeling a bit restless. Winfred came out of the bathroom, drying his hair with a towel. He couldn't help but curl his lips when he saw Lainey's expression. "What are you thinking about?" Lainey glanced at him. "They say on TV that giving birth is very painful..." And she couldn't take even the least pain. Winfred chuckled. "Do you want to go back on your words, Lainey?" Lainey shook her head vigorously. "Not really, I'm just a little scared." Winfred sat down beside her and reached out to caress her cheek. "It's okay. Since you can't take the pain, we won't have a child. Besides, Dad already has Joe as his grandson. If he wants more grandchildren, we can let Noel and Kaylen have two more."
