Chapter25: He Looks Scary

“ I'll keep that in mind, he looks scary ” Skyler said. She didn't want to end up in Reed's hands, she had fought with him before and knew how strong he was. “ Reed is always scary when he's angry, but I'm the only one who isn't scared of him ” Kendricks said. “ I can't believe you both were friends from school ” Chris said. “ Yeah me too ” Skyler added. Just then Skyler's phone rang, when she checked the caller it was Lucas, she smiled and Chris knew the reason for her smile. “ Give me a moment ” Skyler said and left Chris and Kendricks going to her office where she works in their base. “ What's up with her ” Kendricks asked Chris. “ Huh, who ” “ Skyler, I have never seen her smile like this before except maybe I got her a present or her favourite vanilla ice cream ” Kendricks said. “ Well, my dear baby girl is inlove ” Chris said  “ Inlove ? ”  “ Mh - hmm ” Chris hummed.  “ Since when ? How come she never told me ” Kendricks frowned, he felt like Skyler was keeping a secret from him.
