From the start of registration to the deadline, there were only 15 days. With that in mind, Alexia didn't dare slack off for even a second. She stopped going to the hospital altogether. Every day after work, she went back to the Reed residence and focused on her design, only sleeping after midnight. Eventually, worried she might disturb Calvin, she started working in the living room. Sometimes, she was so exhausted that she'd end up falling asleep on the sofa, only to be woken up in the morning by Victor or Benjamin. Victor felt a mix of sympathy and quiet relief. She was just a young girl, but her drive and determination reminded him of himself when he was younger. He found himself growing fonder of Alexia every day. Before long, the 15 days had passed. After sending the email to the submission inbox, Alexia headed downstairs. In the dining room, Victor was sitting at the head of the table, Calvin beside him, reading a newspaper. "Lexi, come have dinner," Victor called out.
