12 minutes later, 12 donuts gone. "I have an early Christmas present for you" Charlotte says as she stand up and walks towards her closet "Give it to me later. It's only twelve in the afternoon" I say which causes her to nod before she walks back over to me "What do you need help with?" She asks with genuine concern "Taking a shower" I say as I nervously look down at my fingers When I don't hear a response I look up only to see Charlotte looking down at her feet as the tips of her ears turn a bright red. "It's okay if you don't feel comfortable enough to do that," I say "I might be able to ask Carolina to help me" I suggest which causes her head to snap up at me in panic "No, I'll do it" she quickly declares as her nose and ears continue to project a red color "Are you sure?" I ask as I think more about the situation "I don't want you to feel uncomfortable, considering that you're my best friend" I say which causes my heart to clench when I utter those two words "No, it's fi
