CHAPTER 10 Awakening Of The Chosen
Breathing shouldn't be hard. but for some reason, it felt extremely difficult.
That is a dead ringer that something was wrong. But Elodia didn't move a muscle.
A harsh ray of sunlight hit her face making her whine: "Oh goodness, close it….."
The aching and pulsating pain in her right arm made her know this was no ordinary morning.
She cracked an eye open, finding herself staring at a ceiling not similar to her room. It was familiar but she couldn't quite place where she saw it, Her mind was still foggy.
Even taking a breath was harder than she imagined. She turned to a silhouette standing over the rays of sunshine and found herself staring at the large brown eyes of Victoria.
"Welcome back to the world of the living"
Elodia groaned, "What happened to me?" Looking for answers from her friend.
"You kinda…. No, you lost consciousness at the Graduation ceremony and have been asleep since then!"
Elodia scrunched her face in confusion, "then why am I not in the hospital but in….." s
