“Mia?!”
Lorenzo didn’t believe in coincidences. Fate was a fickle thing and it only made sense that it slapped everyone in the face by pulling something like this under the wrong.
Miguel didn’t realize anything was out of place as he merely nodded.
“Yes.”
Lorenzo sat next to Miguel. The waves were much harsher against the shore today. The sky was gray and there was rain in the forecast. The heavens would be opening any time soon and showering down on them.
“Her last name was Stefano. Mia Stefano.”
Lorenzo wasn’t surprised to hear that last part. He just heard the name ‘Mia’ and already knew that it was his wife. It wasn’t possible for anything else after that. Even if there were a million Mia’s in the world.
“Come back home with me,” Lorenzo said.
He couldn’t think of how this would affect Mia. The woman was being hit left right and center with different pieces of information. Could Mia even handle such information at this point in time? The woman was pregnant.
