Chapter Forty Two- Sinking Emotions

“Come with me. I want to take you somewhere.” Lorenzo was intrigued as soon as those words slipped past Mia’s mouth. He had no idea where she would be taking him. It would be a lie if he said he wasn't suspicious just a tiny bit. Lorenzo was ordered by his wife to wear a warm jacket. He donned his denim jacket with faux fur trimming. Mia swallowed her compliment.  He always managed to make simple clothes look ten times more attractive. Lorenzo and Mia both got into the car and the man followed his wife’s instructions. The drive was a relatively long one. It took fifty five minutes, the other end of the small city from where their house was. “Where are we going?”  That’s the first thing Lorenzo asked after Mia let him know they’d be going somewhere.
