Chapter One Hundred- Peace and Quiet

Rafael rushed back to Lorenzo and Mia’s house.  He had excused himself from Amara and he felt terrible about leaving the young woman on her own to unpack. She had insisted that it was all her stuff anyways and so it didn’t matter. However, the gentleman inside of Rafael was not pleased about it at all. He felt guilty about Amara sweating away while putting all those boxes into their proper places. He’d make it up to her by taking her out for dinner. Only a friendly dinner. One that took between friends and nothing more. Lorenzo stared at the man as he relayed all the information. Mia was standing next to him and was equally as shocked as her brother. Lorenzo didn’t appear too surprised but that wasn’t out of the ordinary. He had quite a good poker face. “So that man was telling the truth then. Mary really is here,” Lorenzo thought after a few moments of contemplation. Mia raised a single brow as she stared between the two men. “What did you do with the man?” Lor
