Nicole brought the box close to her nostrils. Then, she became startled. Something was wrong. She had no idea when someone had replaced the medicine she had given to Anson. Nicole closed the box with a loud thud. She scanned the room carefully before whispering, "Grandpa, there's something wrong with this medicine." Anson had seen much of the world. He did not react much after hearing her explanation. But his gaze intensified once learning of the news. "Don't tell anyone about this. Not even that brat." Nicole nodded and took a dark green velvet box from her bag. "Grandpa, I intended to bring you this medicine later. "I didn't have many medicinal ingredients left. So, I could only make 16 of these. Keep it well, and don't give anyone a chance to replace it." Anson took the medicine box from Nicole with his wrinkled hands and nodded. "I know what to do. Thank you for thinking of me." After accompanying him to chat for a while longer in the room, Nicole noticed that it was alm
