I did not like Lucas, and he got on my nerves. I kept to myself, giving him the cold shoulder. He did not seem to mind, though. After we finished dinner, he brought out a bunch of games and activities for a fun backyard camping experience. Charlotte was thrilled, grabbing a flashlight to help him set up the tent. The backyard was transformed into a little cozy and fun adventure zone. I remember I used to love camping too, but I could not recall when that was. People usually relaxed and enjoyed the outdoors during Spring Break. Since we were taking a break from our usual routine, we immersed ourselves in the simple pleasures of camping at home. Once Charlotte and Chloe were settled in their sleeping bags, I headed back to my room. Halfway there, Lucas called out, "Yvette." I turned, my face blank. "What's up?" He smiled at me. "What do you feel like having for breakfast tomorrow?" I pressed my lips together. "I'm good with anything." His smile did not waver. "How about I make
