Chapter 101

　　Pedro's POV 　　I didn't find the person who shot the gun at Cora. But I found a diamond earring. 　　It lay on the ground in the direction of the gunshot and was clean. It hadn't been there for a long time. 　　It seemed that the person with the earring left quickly after the gunshot. 　　I picked up the earring and examined it carefully. 　　It was familiar, but I couldn't remember where I had seen it. 　　Then, I put the earrings close to my nose. The smell was familiar too. 　　After thinking for a while, I remembered that it was Patricia. And she liked to wear strong perfume. She didn't wear perfume today. Otherwise, I would have found out when she got close to the warehouse. 　　But her perfume was so strong that it had stained the earring. 　　It was her style of making a sneak attack with herself dressed up. 　　I wasn't sure if I should go back, but Cora's determined eyes held me back. 　　It was clear that she didn't want to see me, no matter what the reason was. 　　And I respected her decision.
